Annual General Meeting

We are delighted that the Guest Speaker for this year's AGM will be Bernadette Monaghan, Glasgow City Council's newly appointed Director for Community Empowerment and Equality.

The AGM will take place from 1.30 until 3.00 on Thursday 21st June at the Phoenix Hall, 5 Monymusk Place, Glasgow G15 8JH.

Cookery Classes for Young People

We are delighted to announce that, once more we will be running our summer cookery course throughout July.

The course is for young people between 8 and 14 years, and will run on Mondays and Wednesdays between 11.00 and 1.00.

Phoenix Lunch Club Expands!

A Lunch Club for the over 60’s takes place in the Phoenix Centre, 5 Monymusk Place, Drumchapel, G15 8JH every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00pm-1:30pm. Run by Volunteer Glasgow, our lunch club brings older people together to enjoy a hot nutritious meal and socialise with friends at the same time.

It's a stitch up - Change of Day

Our sewing group at the Phoenix Centre is now well established. It meets on Fridays from 10am-12pm. If you are interested in learning a new skill, or improving your existing skill, then come along.  All are welcome.

DRUMCHAPEL ANNIESLAND AREA COMMITTEE

 Drumchapel Anniesland Area Committee recently provided us with a grant of £900 to purchase new outdoor and waterproof clothing for the volunteers on our Green Gym Project. We are extremely proud of our green gym, which provides therapeutic exercise for our volunteers, while enhancing the green spaces in our communities.

North West Glasgow Voluntary Sector Network

 The North West Glasgow Voluntary Sector Network is a membership organisation made up of voluntary sector providers and currently has over 100 members. The Network's aim is to provide advice, information and training to our members, and to support organisations to engage with the Community Planning Partnership Structures in the area and to strengthen links with the Health and Social Care Partnership, as well as other key decision bodies.
